Community rules
How we look after each other
Short, and they apply to everyone: people joining, hosts, crew and spaces.
Be kind
- Say hello, learn names, make room for the person who arrived alone.
- No harassment, hate, threats or unwanted touching. Ever.
- "No" is a full answer, at the plan and afterwards.
Keep it public
- Plans happen in public places. Don't move a group somewhere private.
- Ask before taking photos of people, and respect anyone who said "no photos".
- Don't share someone's details without their say. Contacts are shared only between mutuals.
No selling
- No pitching, recruiting, network marketing or collecting numbers at plans.
- Plan descriptions and host updates can't be used to sell.
Show up, or cancel
- A seat you don't use is a seat someone else wanted. Cancel as early as you can.
- 2 missed plans without cancelling pause joining for 60 days.
Adults only
CircleMeUp is for people aged 18 or over. Women-only circles are for women.
If something goes wrong
In an emergency, call 112. Then report it: on the person's row in circle back, or on your People page, tap Report. We act at once on threats or harassment. Reports are private; we never tell someone who reported them.
Breaking these rules can mean a warning, a removed plan, a pause or a permanent ban. You can always ask us to review a decision.
